This block paving in Crawley, Sussex had faded and gone green with algae, with weeds in the joints.
Before
The blocks had lost most of their colour and the algae had spread across the surface and into the joints.
What we did
- Treated the worst of the algae
- Pressure washed the blocks and joints with a surface cleaner
- Rinsed down and tidied the edges and borders
After
The blocks are back to their red brick colour.
